Food was not too bad.. each main course cost 12.50 .. add $2 more for soup.. in the end the total bill was close to $35 which was pretty expensive for a simple lunch like this.. We had a stroll at Isetan bcos dear had to renew her membership.. bought some food and one of which was a pack of small pancakes.. tiny tiny ones.. i had a bite on the bus and i was told by an old man "excuse me, food not allowed, will get fine.." what e hell was that… i wasnt eating any wet food.. they were merely tiny little finger food.. and its not wet at all man.. didnt wana argue with him bcos there were quite a lot of people in the bus..

when we alighted from the bus, it was 530 and dear had to go for her tuition.. so i took the keys and when back her place to have a nap.. pick her up after her tuition and we went to Bliss restaurant for dinner..
Saw this beautiful sky while on my way to pick dear.

Cooking Day

Supposedly, we should be heading for JB or Malacca but things didnt go as planned.
So i have to plan something for that day. haha. We headed to Suntec Muji sale because dear wanted to check out if there is anything she likes. it turned out to be a disappointed trip as the room is slightly bigger than my living room and not alot of good bargins.. most of the stuffs were clothes.. Well, after that we went to Thomson Plaza to get things for dinner and we bought a duck liver. it was a pre-sliced liver and it cost abt 12 bucks.. For goose liver, it comes in one big loaf which will cost over 100 bucks i guess..

Lunch @ Swensen

Met dear for lunch at thomson plaza partly bcos we wanted to check out if we could find any goose liver there. after searching high n low, we finally found it! $13.80 for 100g but it was duck liver. the asst manager was very nice to us, explaining all the diff methods to pan-fry it. i will definitely buy it when i get my allowance. haha. How i wish im working right now…

Swensen was offering a 1-for-1 lunch promo so we ordered 2 ribeye steaks, each priced at $23.90 and it was definitely worth the money. Basically it comes with diff sauce (onion, black pepper and sambal), we chose onion and black pepper. it was really not bad considering the money we are paying for the steaks.
