I took a day off from work to accompany dear on her bday.
Even though its my leave today but i still have to wake up early to go school.
Because i have to pay my school fee..

We went to Keypoint to collect some stuff before heading to Perle Noire.
Just beside the cheesecake cafe.. thats how we found out Perle Noire..

I was never a fan of goose liver. Had bad experience before.
But my first bite of this thing was………. Speechless.
It was excellent..

Yorkshire Pork Rack ($28)
Very thick piece of meat, very tender.

Scallop With King Prawns ($30)
Its the first time that dear doesnt need my help in peeling the prawns.

Expensive but once a year thingy..

Luckily the rain stopped after our food.
So we proceed to Wild Wild Wet..
Never been there before. so took the chance to go since they are having promo.
Dear enjoy $0 (NTUC promo, bday month) and for me, $8..
Not many things to play. the only exciting one was the "free fall" ride..

Highlight of the day:
My toenail came off le.. Finally..
Its been about a month le..
Its gross.. i noe..

After a few hours of play, we went on to explore E!Hub.
Nothing much actually.. After browsing every stores, we decide to settle our dinner at Streets cafe.
Complimentary Lime Tea (Birthday Month)..

Long day.. sent dear home b4 i head for mine..

me and dear had movie at Vivo. "Journey to the center of the earth". After the movie i treated dear to Secret Recipe for cakes because i made her angry which i always did. 

Chocolate Banana, i prefer the one from Awfully Chocolate
(found out that there is Awfully Chocolate in Vivo..)

Shepherd’s Pie

We did a little shopping before heading to meet Benyat.
We had our dinner at Muthu’s Curry..
The first thing i noticed when i step in was - damn hot! very stuffy..
Seems like aircon wasnt powerful enough and i sense something bad..

I had 3-4 plates of rice.. spicy and i kept sweating.. so had lotsa drinks and rice..
Total bill was about $67 shared by 4 persons.. Still not too bad..

We headed to Marina Sq for fireworks after the dinner..

The Company is having staff forum + DnD tonight which IA student will not be involved. Most of them left at 3pm. so to be safe, i left the company at 4pm. went town to meet dear.. i noe that she has been craving for Canele so yes.. We limit the order cause we dont really wana spend too much..

Their cakes are really awesome..

I got my cheque today! it was delayed btw. supposed to get it on the 1st of Aug. but anw, it came. im glad. haha.. long awaited day.. dear has been waiting for my treat for damn long lor.. Met her at Bishan after my work. i hate taking MRT after work.. stood all the way to bishan and squeeze.. hate squeezing.

Head home quite early.. abt 9.. too tired..
